In the back streets of a dusky forgotten street there is a secluded restaurant that doesn’t want to be found, Ali Baba in Tianjin, China. The restaurant caters to Westerners and it’s atmosphere was edging and exotic. The food was okay, nothing thrilling and could have done with less inside chimney smokers. The best part of the night was finding the restaurant with my best friend, my husband. The random art on the walls were cool too. The picture (above) captures a mysterious woman on a drift wood. The details etched on it are extraordinary.
One of the best parts of living in China is discovering the Chinglish. It makes me smile. Below are pictures that will hopefully brighten your day.
Happy day to you!
