Dear Audience,
I know this blog is a few days late but the idea is still worth using or it can be used next year. My husband pointed out to me that Mother’s day is a holiday created by Hallmark. We should celebrate and appreciate our moms throughout the year not just days marked holidays!
I wandered the internet days earlier for a mother’s day gift and on the day was inspired. My mom loves coffee and loves chocolate.
Coffee + a gift card to Cold Stone= a mom feeling loved and cared.
Items used for the gift:
-Colored paper with the words “Happy Mother’s Day”
– mason jar
– ribbon (found around the house, recycle and reuse) could use bow, tissue paper or yarn
– freshly brewed toddy (coffee) Let me just rave that my husband roasted the beans himself.

The rest of the day followed with treating her to lunch at a restaurant on Mill Ave! It was a beautiful Mother’s Day! Thank you to all the moms and soon to be mom’s out there! We appreciate the sacrifices you make!
