Lebanon, Middle Eastern Cuisine

Networking opens up doors of opportunities and God has gifted my husband, Denny, with this skill. Denny had heard from a co-worker of a really good middle eastern restaurant in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. He went there one time on his lunch break and struck up a conversation with the owner. From that conversation and experience Denny wanted to treat his mom, who was visiting from out of state, and Samba, our international student, to the cuisine.

The Middle Eastern Restaurant closes to the public at 6pm. God blessed us and gave us favor with the owner. The owner opened the restaurant to us after hours. It was a super treat!

The food was authentic and this restaurant offers gluten free pitas!!!!

When we were about to leave the restaurant, I took some pictures with my camera to practice with an external flash for an upcoming photo op. The owner saw this and offered us Turkish coffee and baklava. It was an awesome blessing.

The owner gave us a cultural lesson on Turkish coffee. The coffee wasn’t American but the grounds were made from cardamom. He said the more cardamom a host puts in the coffee the more they like that guest.
