The Wedding Day
The people stand up, the music begins and it’s the lasting moment that goes in slow motion for the entire group in attendance for the holy ceremony. The doors open and there is the bride with an expression that paints a million feelings of hope and joy. If you turn to the groom, again you see a priceless expression of affection he has for his bride. This one moment in a capsule expresses God’s love for us.
Where You Can Find the Perfect Love
I love hearing and reading about romances. When I meet a couple for the first time I love to hear their love story that God wrote for them. I love love but I am not the only one. Our culture loves love. The most epic stories are on love. “We tend to love great romantic stories. We love to see people fall in love. We love to see people stay in love.” The illustration above reminded me on why women are drawn to chick flicks and love stories. However, the love stories played out in the chick flicks nowadays have a lot of promiscuity that makes them difficult to watch for me personally. This is not to say watching chick flicks is wrong, but for me, many of them are. The point I am trying to make is that the heart and reason behind why women flock to the chick movies is because the heart of the plot centers on the idea of a perfect love. Love is good. We were designed to desire to want perfect unending generous love and to give love.
LOVE, why are people drawn to it? Ultimately, this desire of experiencing love can only be revealed through our relationship with Jesus. People we love will fail us but Jesus’s love is “…never-ending, perfect, committed, devoted, affectionate love.” The only person to fill that desire for love is Jesus. I hope this explanation helps you understand why you long for love, and that you too can experience this type of perfect love.

Two hello’s from Qingdao, China.
And a little girl who I can’t but smile at. Does it count as a smile if the picture makes you smile? (Hey I did ask and this is what I got.) This picture makes me laugh. “I’m so confused right now. What’s this white girl doing with her camera in my face? I’m enjoying my morning Starbucks frappachino.”
