I sit here and wonder what to even say about the project. I am stunned. I did it; I finished a large project. I impressed myself; it’s the biggest project I have accomplished in my life. The project has come a long way since the first post on the project back in January and the mid-project post in August. This project all started from a little inspiration from a Chinese street sweeper and encouragement from my husband. A BIG thanks goes out to Denny.
My inspiration….doesn’t he make you smile?
I met so many people. It’s crazy to think that in one year I met over 10,000 people. I come away from the project a stronger, disciplined and a better photographer.

He Will Be Remembered
All timing happens for a reason. This morning I learned about a boy I met at an orphanage in March went to Heaven before Christmas. I knew he had a disease but when I met him he seemed like he was doing well. I am thankful I met him and captured his smile. His joy with life was contagious. He is a reason to smile. He will be remembered.

2014 Here We Come
