The ocean’s breeze, the weather’s ideal temperature and the warm sand beneath their toes was an enchanting place for Josiah’s proposal to Jacki. He asked Jacki’s friend Jenny to bring her to a beach with the romantic gesture of proposing to her. Josiah came up from behind and surprised Jacki with his presence in California. He knelt to one knee and took her hand on the beaches of Malibu and asked her to be his wife. In May they will be four years married and a young married couple that have done many adventures.

They devoted two years of minstry in East Asia and fell in love with the culture. They are currently back in the states but plan on returning, hence the newest addition to their family, Bay. She is the perfect size to travel overseas by air.
I have seen them interact with Bay and I think that they will one day make terrific parents. They bath her once a week, enjoy playing with her and love her to pieces.
They are passionate about knowing truth and living out a relationshio with Jesus.
In their own words on what they like about the other person.
“Jacki loves that Josiah does everything with purpose and dedication, including being a wonderful husband.”
“Josiah loves that Jacki is wise”.
Josiah designed this drift wood for decoration the day he proposed to his beautiful bride Jacki.
Together they enjoy taking Bay for walks, eating Chinese food and rock climbing. They were the ones that introduced my husband and I to Asian Cafe Express, an authentic Chinese restuarnt in the Mesa area. All four us reccomend it.
The rice was inspired by their love for the Asian culture. Josiah and Jacki were awesome sports. They were my helpers with this rice throwing shot before they embraced in a magical fairytale kiss.
These are the words they would describe themselves, “bold” and a “machine”. Jacki is wise, discerning and not afraid to speak up for justice and truth. Josiah loves to tinker with computers, film gear and other techy gadgets.
Jacki loves to laugh at funny real life stories. The next time you see her, share a funny story and you will get a smile out of her. =)
Jacki studied electric engineering at Arizona State University and also knows how to speak Mandarin. She reminds me of Keira Knighley’s doppelganger. Wouldn’t you agree?
Josiah helped his father build his childhood home and to this day “enjoys making things more efficent.” You can make Josiah laugh by telling him something that doesn’t make sense.
They love one another, have traveled some of Southeast Asia and love to share what God has done in their life. They are a wonderful couple to do life with.
I love this quiet moment the two of them had while I was at a distance. Memories were made.
