Matt and Maricella had a destination wedding at Omni Hotel & Resort in Cancun, Mexico on June 28, 2014. Thank you Matt and Maricella for inviting me to capture the essence of your love in your wedding attire in the early season of your marriage.

Friendship and chemistry was kindled in their youth; Matt and Maricella met in middle school. Years later Matt asked Maricella to be his wife over a romantic dinner at the Compass Room.

Maricella is a hair and make-up artist and does freelance work for bride’s. She is quite talented; look at those eyes.

It was an honor to capture the artist behind the make-up display her own talents.

Matt was easy to make smile; just ask him to look at his bride.

Garden wedding photos are the best; I love the foliage.

Matt knows how to make Maricella laugh; she loves his smile and positive attitude. One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is being able to witness the love a couple has for one another behind the lens.

As a team they are a really “playful” couple; they are always ready to have fun.

We recreated a moment Maricella’s parents did on their wedding day.
