The Elegant Barn Wedding: Steven + Symone

She had a crush on him her Freshmen year of high school. It was her sophomore year that he noticed her and asked her to the Homecoming Dance in between classes. For their first date, and the Homecoming Dance, Symone wore a dress with a mixture of green and browns woven into it. To have Steven match her, Symone chose for him to wear a green tie.

Before their first evening out, Steven was nervous because taking Symone to the homecoming was his first date. Before the dance they dined at Carrabba’s, an Italian food restaurant. At the end of the evening when Steven dropped her off, Symone leaned in and gave him a goodnight kiss. Hereafter, the dance, their love continued to grow as they shared their love for participating in the high school marching band.

Fast forward to years out of high school, Symone woke up from a nap on the couch to heavy footsteps coming her way…it was Steven walking toward her on his knees. At first, Symone was annoyed to being awaken but soon that annoyance toward to glee when Steven asked, “Will you marry me?”

The two high school sweethearts decided to wed and celebrate their marriage at The Elegant Barn in Gilbert, Arizona with their family and friends on January 7, 2016.

Steven and Symone you two are a fun and easy going couple. Thank you for your joyful spirits embracing your wedding day in the rain and shine. It was an honor seeing your two families become one and see you two promise to love one-another forever. Grace and Peace, April.

Symone started her wedding day with a string of pearls and slipping into a modern wedding dress from a David’s Bridal Collection.

Symone chose to have a first-look with her father and mother.

This was her mom’s reaction when she saw the bride.

The wedding couple chose to do a first look, at first sight they melted into each other’s arms.

In the brisk rainy wedding day weather, the Bride sported a leather jacket in her wedding gown.

For florals Symone chose a simple flower…tulips.

Their bridal party was full of joy for their best friends.

Their Arizona January wedding had pretty winter hues of violet and greys.

Steven and Symone vowed to love one-another underneath The Elegant Barn’s grand door frame.

Following the ceremony the couple enjoyed newly marital bliss under an Arizona rainfall.

The wedding couple decorating their reception tables with vintage lanterns and table numbers with famous books and movies in history. Congrats Steven and Symone for becoming one!
