Their loved bloomed over the summer when the two met working at Nordstroms. Paige was the Nordstrom’s manager for their store, she liked Andrew and purposefully scheduled him during her shifts.
One afternoon, her preschool teacher from King of Glory Catholic Church came into Nordstroms. Andrew was helping Paige’s past teacher. When her teacher was done being assisted in choosing some items to purchase, she strolled over to Paige and whispered to her, “Do you want me to hook you up with him?” Later that same day, in passing and in a joking manner, Paige had told Andrew what her teacher had said. It was after that that Andrew asked Paige out on a casual group date after work. It was on July 22nd, when Paige turned 21 that Andrew asked her out on an official date for lunch at a Mexican restaurant.
Fast forward a few months to their Christmas school break. During their break the two enjoyed spending everyday together playing Guitar Hero and hanging out. The two enjoyed an epic New Years Eve party welcoming the New Year. It was on that dance floor at 3am that Andrew asked Paige if she would be his girlfriend.
Andrew is a thoughtful person and loved studying Paige; he followed her Pinterest board of engagement rings that she liked. Andrew found the perfect ring for Paige, so in one day he took a day trip to San Diego to pick it up. When Andrew got home he quickly changed out of his work suit, turned on Netflix and two minutes later, Paiged walked in the door having no idea what adventure Andrew embarked on that day.
The following day Paige noticed that Andrew’s car was dirty and thought that was peculiar. That’s where that thought ended. Paige suggested that the two take a mini vacation up to the Grand Canyon. Andrew and Paige drove to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. There the lovebirds walked and talked under the Arizona’s sprinkling grey clouds. During their outing, Paige thought to herself that Andrew was acting weird. Little did she know that Andrew had a sparkling diamond ring hidden in his pocket. After the canyon, the two adventured to Kaibab Lake. When they arrived at the lake, Andrew suggested that Paige come over to the other side of the lake’s dock saying that it was really scenic. Paige was looking out over the lake’s scene and Andrew was talking to her about their first Flagstaff vacation. It was when Paige turned to Andrew that she saw he was down on one knee with the engagement box open. Paige with happiness started to sob with joy. Following Paige’s “YES” to marrying Andrew, some local campers took their proposal pictures.
