Boulders Engagement: Jacob + Maura

Maura and her sister, who at the time was pregnant, decided they needed to have a last “hoorah” together before her sister’s baby came! They went to a couple of different pubs where they could enjoy being silly and having fun together. Out of the blue,  “White Wedding” by Billy Idol came on and they joined in with the song. Maura all of a sudden started to hear the familiar voice of her boyfriend, Jacob, start singing the song. There he was, unexpectedly standing there with them in the Pub.  He never normally sang, so she thought “he must really like this song.” To her surprise, the reason why he started to sing this special song was because he was about to propose. He presented a ring box to her, and she slowly took her promise ring off, as Jacob asked, “Maura, will you Marry me?” She shouted with tones of excitement and expectation, so that the whole Pub could hear her say “yes!”

This sweet couple has decided to get married at The Superstition Manor to help capture the vintage and elegant feel they envision for their special day.

It was only fitting to have their engagement session at the Boulders Resort and Spa, so their love for each other and for the beauty of the Arizona desert, could be seen.

They shared a lot of giggles together as their engagement session got off to a great start.

They had a lovely blend of blush and earth toned outfits, which made for a classic, yet timeless look.

The sun gave off some brilliant lighting for the couple as their love glowed. The rays also added a gentle glow to the groom-to-be’s beard.

They shared in their mutual goofiness, making Jacob feel totally comfortable to be himself, and believe that Maura is the perfect girl for him.

The serene atmosphere enhances the way Maura gazes at Jacob and loves every detail about him,  from the inside-out.

Jacob brings so much light to Maura’s heart, and was so evident in the way she smiled and responded to him. She feels comfort when she is with him and feels safe in his arms.

At the Boulders the prehistoric boulders encompassed their love. This setting is a direct parallel of their love: ageless.

Her beautiful sea-foam green, bow-backed top looked stunning on Maura, and brought out all the beauty that surrounded them at the Boulders.

There is so much excitement that lies ahead for this couple. A  year of wedding planning and a year of marriage preparations for their wedding at The Supersition Manor.

The beautiful Arizona desert reflects the sun’s magnificent light in such a profound way. It showcases a couple’s love in the best kind of light there is.
