Lisa had been attending Redemption Church for about a month and was looking to meet new people each week. Rick had been a member for the past 4 years and thought it would be a good idea to help someone he hadn’t met before, feel more at home. So he decided to sit down near the front of the church. He noticed a cute girl sat down behind him. He decided to start a friendly conversation. With a big smile, he said to her, “It’s cold in here, isn’t it?” It was “accidentally” the perfect time for this moment because as he asked her, Lisa took a huge bite from a granola bar. She quickly downed the bite and lit up with a smile and asked about his college ring. They paused their conversation for the service, but later continued talking. After the service, Rick ran into a friend of his and they all three decided to go out for frozen yogurt. Using a two-for-one coupon, he bought Lisa’s yogurt. That evening, they decided to exchange numbers.
For the next two days, Lisa invited Rick to join her in a yoga class and do some rock climbing together. They became friends very fast and started to spend a lot of their time together. Their love for each other began to grow deeper. So much so, that a year later they got engaged! And are now officially Mr. and Mrs.!!
Rick and Lisa’s wedding made for the perfect amount of excitement and class. The colors were intentionally chosen on behalf of their shared college color, maroon, and the Ovarian Cancer Awareness color, teal. This combination made their wedding even more personal, and intimate, than it already was. Their wedding was simply chic and classic. There were moments of deep love, joy, and laughter.
