There is something so timeless about this hairstyle. This specific type of updo is called a chignon and I think it’s a great choice for your wedding updo. You can get a lot of volume in the crown area and have a very sleek bun in the back and it’s just so classy looking.

As far as makeup goes, I suggest keeping the skin really clean and making the eyes pop. If you aren’t a big makeup wearer, I think this would be such a great look for you. It’s just enough for a wedding day and will look fabulous in photos, but won’t make you feel uncomfortable.

Bohemian-

Braids are all the rage these days and it’s a perfect option if you’re going for a bohemian look. What’s even better is that if your hair gets a little bit messy during the day, it will just had to style your going for. Messy is ok when your wanting a boho look! This particular braid was twisted around the back of her head and came down the side. Flower crowns look beautiful with this type of style too.

Bohemian makeup could be anything from no makeup to very subtle makeup with hints of very warm tones. Play up your skin and make it glow. Highlighter and blush could be your best friend here!

I absolutely love clean and simple hair and makeup. You can still look very polished and wedding appropriate while keeping it simple. For this look I wanted her to look polished but not overdone at all. I did a simple undo that had a lot of movement and airiness. I think the touch of flowers helps dress it up a little bit.

I kept her makeup very simple, evened up the skin a little bit and very light on the eyes. A soft pink lip was a lovely touch to whole look. Don’t feel like you have to wear a ton of makeup on your wedding if it’s not you. You can still look very polished and clean without a lot of makeup.

How dreamy is this bride? So beautiful and elegant. I want to talk about hair extensions for a second… Clips ins, tape ins, sew ins, whatever you do, if you want to wear your hair down for your wedding extensions are such a great option! It will add so much thickness and drama to your style. This bride had beaded extensions it really helped with the end result. I did a little combination of waves and curls for the perfect amount of drama and elegance.

We did go a little heavier on the makeup, but still kept it very classy. If you do want go all out with your makeup on your wedding day, a smokey eye is the perfect solution. By keeping the lips a more nude color, it will balance out the eyes and will still look very clean and romantic.

This is one of my favorite updos of all time. I just think it’s so romantic and lovely with a little bit of a vintage touch. Updos like this are a great idea for a wedding day. It will be out of your face all day long and it’s going to stay in place and won’t fall out. Basically, you won’t have to worry about your hair at all during the day. But let’s talk a little bit about this beautiful head band! I love putting accessories like this into updos because it adds something fun to the front of your hair, rather than just having an updo at the back that you won’t see in a lot of photos.

Romantic makeup to me is very soft and sultry; vibrant, healthy looking skin with bold eyes, wing liner, and a pretty lip. I think this would be a great option for a wedding day because it will be a bit dressed up, but not over the top.

These trends are all-together classic and timeless and will not disappoint you no matter what look you decide to go for. By choosing what works best for you, you’ll be sure to feel comfortable and relaxed so that you can all the more, enjoy every sweet moment of your wedding day.
