Once Upon a Time…
She took a deep breath in and released her breath back into the air. The warmth of the Sonoran desert touched her skin with the rays of the beautiful sun. She took her place behind a dusty red historical Pueblo estate building with her head tilted slightly down, grabbing a hold of a classic white rose bouquet. This bouquet she held onto in the palms of her hands when she made the most important walk of her life. The walk down the aisle to her true love.
In her classic white wedding gown, she put one foot in front of the other towards “the first look.” She is carried her train in her left hand and the bouquet in her right. Butterflies fluttered with nerves and excitement in her heart and she began to dream of the life with her groom they were about to embark on. On the walk, her eyes started to wander at the lush garden greenery, one at a time, admiring the distinct characteristic of each one.
She arrived gently before the back of her groom. He stood in anticipation of seeing his beloved adorned in purity and in perfection. He was given the okay to turn, and when he did, the water from his eyes began to melt her heart. His tears spoke joy, thankfulness, and admiration into life. He saw his bride simply beautiful and simply herself.
With the ceremony right around the corner, they began to make their way to the outdoor garden floral arch. The intimacy leaked through the vows and romance wrapped the final words of “I do” into one union of two souls. Their wedding continued to the reception area where they danced under the stars alongside the natural beauty of the Tempe Desert. Guests gathered all together with the bride and groom to overlook the Phoenix valley on the terrace.
Their thoughtful and classical wedding was completely stripped down to the organic and raw vulnerable love. With this gorgeous venue, it made guests feel like they were attending an Arizona destination wedding. There was so much charm to the already precious historical estate, that there was not much else to add, other than their simple love story.
