As high school seniors, Jacob and Maura first laid eyes on each other during a friend’s birthday party. Before the night was over, Maura couldn’t leave without making sure she had a way to contact Jacob. She asked one of his friends for his number so they would be able to talk. With a choir concert coming up, Maura knew this could be a great way to see each other. They arranged to meet after the show and Maura wore a red and black dress so that he would know exactly who to look for. They began spending more time together which led to six years of dating! Not too long after their 6 year mark, Jacob took that next step to ask Maura if she would be his wife (you can read more about their engagement story here.) Their forever love story is only just beginning as they became Mr. and Mrs. this past weekend at the gorgeous Superstition Manor.
Jacob and Maura said their “I do’s” in a truly romantic and dreamy fashion. Think fresh blush and precious pink colors with rose gold accents. Elegance twirled around the entire wedding day leaving an “airy and light” feel behind. Their alfresco Arizona wedding left the imagination in wonder and awe from all the divine pastels and heavenly touches.
Thank you Jacob and Maura for inviting me to witness the tender moments of your marriage celebration. It is humbling to be a part of significant memories on your wedding day such as tears during the first look with your father and watching you both share tears of joy while exchanging your vows.
They displayed their commitment to love in their own Arizona Autumn wedding at the breathtaking Superstition Manor.
Pretty in pink detailing with their one of a kind monogramed stamp. The whimsical rose gold coloring played on the charming decadent tones.
Maura and her mother sharing a such a tender moment of emotion.
Love to witness a loving bridal party be the hands and feet of the bride. The flower girls created a lasting memory as they delightfully twirled about underneath Maura’s wedding veil.
As part of the getting ready, Maura’s mom adorned her in a family heirloom necklace. This stunning necklace has worn its way onto the necks of all Maura’s sisters.
The blushing bride in all her beauty.
Her “something old” combined with her “something blue” was this 60 year heirloom garter from Maura’s grandmother. Every grandkid in the family has had the honor of wearing it.
Her gorgeous flowers are from the talented Wild Iris Weddings. The floral arrangements were full of fresh blush-toned blooms mixed with amazing succulent pieces adding an Arizonian element.

The bridesmaid dresses have us wide-eyed in love! Chiffon with added lace detailing in blush and neutral pink tones added to the light and airy aura of the wedding. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were intentionally created with the succulents as the highlight. Jacob and Maura wanted to make sure the beauty of the Arizona state was on display. This was a great way to show off some of that Arizona flair because of how timelessly beautiful they are! Just like Jacob and Maura’s love.
The adorable little flower girls are singing ring-around-the-roses for such a time as this.
Jacob and his fellow groomsmen sticking together and by his side as they prepare for the rest of the day.
Jacob and Maura had their ceremony held on the Superstition Manor‘s private lawn which overlooks the Superstition Mountains. In the beginning of the ceremony, the flower girls hesitated to walk down the aisle, so the ring bearer made his way back to kindly escort them to the front.
The third flower girl was the most hesitant out of all. Yet when she reached mid-aisle, she started to realize all eyes were on her and she lit up with this much joy.
The Allegro Quartet played at the start of the ceremony while Maura walked down the aisle.
Jacob’s priceless and tender expression as he is hearing his bride share her vows.
Happy tears being reciprocated throughout their ceremony.
The new Mr. and Mrs. walking hand-in-hand in their very own bubble exit.
Following the ceremony, we documented their first portraits as husband and wife. Couple portraits are a favorite especially right after they are official husband and wife. The Superstition Manor knows how to show off beautiful treasures in the Arizona desert.
Sweet affection are the written words to tell of their love.
