Ramon and Jenna have an old soul kind of love but with fresh vibrant personalities. Their love story began seven years ago when Jenna worked for Ramon’s mom. Ramon was younger than Jenna at the time while Jenna was previously engaged and just had a child. As years passed on, Ramon and Jenna became friends and started to hang out more often. It felt as though the timing was never right between the two. When one was single, the other was not and vice versa. Until the Summer 2014 came along, they both were single at just the right time. After a year of no contact, they decided they wanted to reconnect and after only two months they started to date.

Thank you to the both of you. It was amazing to witness your grandparents’ forever love being put on display. Seeing how you included them on your wedding day showed how much they mean to you. Loved to watch Ramon look at you and then watch you light up at his look was truly remarkable. I was honored to be invited to document your wedding day!
Ramon and Jenna’s wedding invitation was gracefully closed with a personal wax seal. The beginning of the day was filled with prepping for the wedding celebration to be held at the historical estates at the Secret Garden Events in Phoenix.

They have an enduring kind of love that will only get better with time.
Their love story has generational history and background of love between grandparents. Like the historical Scorpion Gulch ruins, this day for them represents so much more. It represents a historical moment for the rest of their combined family tree.
Endearing and charming love is told by the way they look at each other.

Together they will be able to do far more than if they were each on their own.

Adored her bridesmaids’ dusty lavender chiffon dresses combined with their dusty lavendar bouquets.
Classic grey suits were a hit for the groomsmen, complimenting the subtle lavendar so well.
Ramon and Jenna proclaimed their commitments in front of their closest family and friends on the Secret Garden Events Grand South Lawn. There were multiple stand out moments during the ceremony. One of them being when Jenna descended from the grand staircase arm-in-arm with her grandfather who led her to her beloved. Another one being when they exchanged their vows. Jenna had to wipe her joyful tears away from her cheeks while sharing her personal vows to Ramon.
They came up with a beyond brilliant idea to create and place decorative cones to hold rose petals in. When Ramon and Jenna walked down the aisle as officially Mr. and Mrs, their guests’ showered them with the petals to cue the marriage celebration. In addition to the cones, flower bunches and leaves were intentionally place on every other chair. The floral decor theme continued all the way to the arch with hanging flowers and branches, where they stood under to say their “I do’s.”
During their reception they had lanterns that gave off a gentle glow with flowers accenting it. The fairytale theme was everywhere. Pixie dust had left a trail during their entire wedding day. The carriage house, however, was so simply beautiful on it’s own, that no add ons were necessary.
Reception tables perfectly set up underneath this ancient Carob Tree.
The Carriage House at the Secret Garden Events is a 85 year old building. An intimate, quiant wedding is perfect for this historically charming location. Inside the Carriage House, Ramon and Jenna requested for a naked-styled cake with different layers of filling and delicatable frosting in the middle. The reception flowers hung with grace from the cake. They decided to serve and gift their special guests with dusty lavender macaroons to compliment their dusty and rustic styled wedding day.
Jenna got to have two first dances with two of the most important men in her life; her husband and her grandfather. Moments they will forever cherish and treasure in their minds and hearts.
The joyful expression of her grandfather as he holds her for one more dance is priceless.
Ramon surprised Jenna with his own private dance. They danced the rest of the night away.
