Papago Park Engagement: Gregg + Kay

It is September 18. Their anniversary. She takes her time to make sure her hair is properly done the way she hoped as he finished the final twists and turns of his attire. They decide to celebrate with a meal at the Marriott Tempe at the Buttes. They walk into the restaurant and immediately go to the hostess. Gregg leans nearly on the stand with one hand in his pant pocket trying to hide the diamond ring he bought for this specific moment. Well and for the hostess, she is in on it too. She knows eventually how this evening will end for the lovely couple. They sit down and eat, but Gregg begins to tremble with his words. Seemingly unlike himself, Kay realizes something is different and thinks maybe something special is about to happen: a sense that this could be the night Gregg asks her to marry him.

As the dinner continued on, he gently moved his forehead closer to hers until they subtly touched. Nose to nose, eyes to eyes. He exhales a deep sigh as he continues with speaking words of affirmation about his love towards her and the future he sees them having together. Absolute delight gushes out from Kay’s eyes and her smile. She beams with light and excitement at the overwhelming joy she is experiencing in this moment. As he finishes his proposal, Kay reaches for his face to hold him in her hands. Tears of contentment and excitement stream down her face, feeling more confident than she did just moments before. She says, “yes!” with no hesitation and the celebration continued the rest of the night.

Gregg and Kay decided to have their engagement season documented on the historical lava rocks of Papago Park.

Kay wore a stunning and chic maroon fitted dress with some darling heels to seal her beautiful look.

The sweet soon-to-be bride graciously gifted her fiancé with this dashing watch.

Gregg and Kay share such a precious love. They enjoy spending as much time as possible together and it brings out the biggest smiles in each of them.
