After a few “ah ha” moments from continual joking by Tyler and Mckenzie, the laughter would soon turn into joyous emotions of love and excitement. They were hiking up Mt. Camelback with their brother and sister. A proposal seemed still in the distance, yet closer than ever. Which it was. As their foots stepped onto slippery and waddling rocks, they would grab onto each other, gripping for the sake of not falling. As they reached the top of final destination, Tyler got down on one knee and asked Mckenzie if she would give him the honor of spending the rest of her life with him.
With a momentary black out of surreal excitement, she said yes, with continual unrelenting smiles for the remainder of the day. As she remembered the events leading up to the proposal, she realized Tyler’s attire was a lot nicer than usual. She also realized he had this contagious smile permeated on his lips the whole time, and lastly she remembered his words, “I would propose there,” when they preciously hiked Mt. Camelback. Even though Mckenzie wasn’t able to put all the pieces together at the time, they now has a handful of precious memories they will never forget.
