Two summers ago in 2015, Gregg was in his element coaching a team. All the while, Kay was in dental school while working as a waitress on the side. One evening, Gregg happened to step into the very restaurant Kay worked at for just another coaches night of rest over a beer. They met and felt an immediate chemistry with an easy flow to their conversation. They met shortly again following that night and continued to grow closer together and more in love. They would describe themselves as two very unlikely people to have met since one is from South Dakota and the other from California. Opposite personalities, but complimenting each other well, Gregg and Kay make a great team and will now be a powerful, unified married couple.

Thank you to Gregg and Kay. Kay, I appreciated witnessing Gregg see you for the first time as the woman he is going to love and cherish, unconditionally for life. From his raw emotion and depth, it was a blessing to see. It was an honor to be apart of the significance of this day for your new growing family, to see Khia gaining a father and Gregg gaining a daughter. Kay, your first look with your father, who had so much joy in his emotions, was priceless. Gregg and Kay, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding memories. I am excited for you to see all the photos, but until then, here are my favorite highlights of the day you two proclaimed and promised to each other to love as husband and wife.

Delicate notes of decadence with a touch of blush. Did you know your sense of smell is the strongest sense tied back to memory? This is why it is so common to select a one of a kind perfume for your wedding day, so from that day forward, one smell of that perfume, and all your wedding day memories come flooding back!

There were touching and beautiful raw moments that unfolded as this family grows bigger with their new marriage.
It is possible to have a marriage and not have love, but for Kay and Gregg, their marriage and love go hand in hand. It is a choice to have both love and a marriage as one, and that is what they chose on this day. For Kay, she loves Gregg’s kind and passionate soul.
She also loves Gregg’s silly personality and how he can make her laugh. Laughing is so good for us. It is a good reminder when life gets serious and busy, to take time out, and live in that child-like wonder and awe that can be so refreshing.
Simple is always better. Kay and Gregg know even just a simple kiss communicates pursuit, connection, and care.
