Down from Flagstaff he moved himself to be closer to the woman his heart longed to be with. The long distance had it’s time, and now he was making the choice to pursue his love. Michael arrived in Mesa, Arizona to begin the new adventure awaiting with his girlfriend, Gabby. They met each other while in 8th grade during youth group and both had the first impression of being a little strange. Sooner than later, their strangeness developed into a mutual attraction and affection for one another.
After dating for about a year and a half, they had developed their own routines of life, and learned how to make their relationship flourish. They began to learn about their likes and dislikes, and about how they like to spend their time together. They even became parents to a white husky dog, Coda Bear, who they fell in love with. Towards the end of their dating relationship, Michael kept his ear open to the desire of Gabby’s heart when it came time to discuss engagement rings. He treasured her favorite ring in his heart knowing the day was about to come when he would buy that one ring to ask for her hand in marriage.
On September 27, 2016 Michael came off from work pretending to be irritated because of a hard day at work. Gabby’s response of course was compassionate and kind, wanting to understand what made it so hard. Michael in his head knew he was about to drive her off to the same park where they first met Coda Bear, their white husky. She didn’t know however why exactly she was being taken to this spot. After the arrived, Michael began to speak words of affirmation and of love for his Gabby. As they had been best friends for a while, he was ready to make the jump with her and asked her nervously, “Want to do this?” There was a moment of silence, before Gabby without any doubt replied with a “definitely yes!”
Michael and Gabby decided they wanted to document this precious engagement time. A couple days ago we made our way to the grounds of Saguaro Lake Ranch as they played, laughed, and loved each other through the session. Their upcoming boho casually elegant wedding will be coming up at the beautiful Las Sendas Trailhead Wedding Venue.
Michael demonstrates his love even in the smallest of ways. He will go out of his way to put a smile on his fiancé’s face, like waiting in the Dutch Bro’s line for thirty minutes just to make sure he can surprise her at work. How sweet it is to see how they display their thoughtful and intentional love for each other.
Michael and Gabby enjoy their down time together. They don’t have much of it, but when they do, they make sure to end the day with a nice meal out at one of their favorite “go-to” restaurants.
It is precious to watch them have so much fun together without the distractions of life getting in the way. There is a playful innocence about the love they have.
Coda Bear is their amazing white husky dog. How soft does he look? He is one excited pup to see his favorite humans tie the knot!
Spontaneous fun is a must for this couple. A good laugh or a bad pun will never disappoint their sense of humor!
Michael’s European hair style added a nice touch to their session.
If they had one word to best describe Michael it would be a jokester.
Gabby made such an adoring comment about marrying her future husband: “I’m really excited to be starting a future with my best friend.”
Their love story has a humility to it because of their willingness to allow the other person to help shape and grow into a better version of themselves.
Tender moments with their lovable white husky dog, Coda Bear.
Laughing their way through the future is most likely how Michael and Gabby will be choosing to do this life together.
