Morning dawns a new day. They both break their slumber with an inhale of the fresh morning breeze. With a gentle turn onto their shoulder their eyes fall onto each other and they both give a soft grin. “Can you believe it has already been four years?” She whispers to her husband. “The time has gone by fast and we’ve done a lot in that time. I can’t wait for the next forever years with you,” he responded.
Jerrin and Karlee are celebrating 4 years of marriage by capturing moments together on film. They tied the knot on November 30, 2012 and are now marching through this fourth year stronger in love than before.
Karlee gave us a fun fact about their proposal and remembering back to their wedding day:
“I’ve had one serious boyfriend in my life, so you can imagine my excitement when he got down on one knee! We tied the knot on November 30, 2012. Best. Day. Ever.”
Jerrin and Karlee wanted to have their anniversary portraits to be surrounded by green ground coverings so we made our way through Papago Park in Arizona. With her gorgeous red locks and enchanting long flowy off-the-shoulder dress, they looked like they were in a desert version of Ireland.
I am thankful to have captured a fellow wedding photographer friend and her husband’s love. This is going to be an exciting year ahead as they journey through their fourth year of marriage.

They are a breathing testimony of two becoming one. It’s not an easy process, but with their arms wrapped around each other, they choose their marriage as the priority.
Jerrin and Karlee have such charming smiles for one another that light up the atmosphere around them.
Love when a couple can feel comfortable around each other for raw un-candid moments.
Shooting at Papago Park was similar to watching the happy couple go on an adventurous Irish get away but with all the Arizonian desert treasures to keep it “homey.”
Leaning into each other when life gets complicated or hard is what draws them closer together. Their marriage continues to become all together beautiful.
