There is chaos everywhere; you hear, “It’s the end of the world”. You don’t know what is going on but you know you should be scared. The government is telling you to leave your home and run to a safety zone fast. You are to pack all your precious belongings quickly. Say goodbye to comfort: electricity, medical supplies, clean water, food and heat. You will soon understand the mind set of survival. In all the mess what is your top priority? Most people, when they take the time to reflect their heart they would say family and/or friends. Different parts of the country are hit with this virus, maybe your family member was at work and that was your last time you are going to see them. Maybe in the process of leaving your home your loved one was attacked by the virus. Either way you won’t see them ever again.

The Walking Dead Teaches Life Lessons

One day the world will end. Hopefully it won’t be a zombie apocalypse. =) We can learn a valuable lesson from the television show The Walking Dead. Sooner than the end of the world, your country, your home and/or family will be hit with a emotional or physical storm. The truth is that we are promised tribulation and pain. This post may sound sullen but I want to give you perspective and reminding of how valuable your time is on this earth. What and who you value is where you will spend your time.

Example dialogue: A conversation between two brothers Thomas: Hey, how are you? I would love to talk to you. When are you free to Skype? Andrew: no response

Two months later Thomas: I miss you little brother. Life has been crazy living in Hong Kong. I love these younger kids that I teach. Would love to hear how you are. If you are free to Skype let me know your availability. Would love to see your face. Andrew: Hey Thomas. Doing fine. Yeah I have been busy with work.

People make excuses. From this dialogue it shows that the younger brother Andrew doesn’t value his relationship with his brother Thomas. There will always be excuses but if you value someone or something you make the time. Time is our only resource. Take some time to reflect where you spend your time on the day-to-to business. If your family and friends are important spend time with them. If God is important read His love letters, talk to Him.

“We always think there is going to be more time…..But then it runs out.”
