This “Gluten Free Spaghetti Series” will be three parts. This series will be my “Little Italy” section on aprilmaura.com. Stay tune for the next three weeks while I introduce you to healthy spaghetti recipes while I am in living in China. If you try the recipes, please let me know how they turn out and what you think.
Ingredients: Serving 2 people
-1 head of noodle looking mushrooms
-can of spaghetti sauce (or homemade sauce)
-4 green peppers
-1 red onion
-1 whole garlic minced
-one stem bush of oregano
-parmesan
3 EASY Steps to Making Mushroom Noodle Spaghetti
GLUTEN-FREE
1) Cut up all the veggies and tear the mushrooms. (optional) Make homemade spaghetti sauce
2) Saute mushrooms and the onions for about 5-7 minutes (till light brown) and then add the spaghetti sauce.
3) Add the veggies and garnish the spaghetti with fresh oregano and parmesan.
MY EASY PEASY fresh SPAGHETTI SAUCE
(NO preservatives, stress the FRESH)
Ingredients: a bunch of tomatoes, onion, garlic and Italian/Rosemary/Thyme seasoning
Directions- 1) Blend a batch of tomatoes (about 10 tomatoes- Serves 2) 2) Heat the liguidified tomatoes on the stove till it is the consistency of spaghetti sauce (about 1 hour) 3) While it’s cooking season the beast with Italian herbs and fresh onion and garlic. [/box]
