This is a love story of how a marketer met a school teacher. They met through mutual friends that Paula had known from her teacher’s orientation. Their first glance was exchanged at the Coach House bar one evening in Scottsdale.
Fast forward seven years. Mark is known as a big planner, hence Paula was waiting for a grand spectacle when he proposed for her hand in marriage. To her surprise the question was asked on a Tuesday night when she came home stressed from work. Mark pulled her aside and stared deeply into her eyes and said that he had something to ask her that would make her feel better. Paula told him not to joke about it. Mark reassured her he wasn’t by gently laying his hands on her shoulders. It was at this moment Paula realized Mark was proposing which made her jump-up-and-down with joy. Mark said he would be right back. He got down on his two knees and showed her the frosting-aka the diamond ring. Paula recounts that her proposal story was the biggest surprise on a random day.
All the bridesmaids got ready in a large room at the Double Tree in Scottsdale.
The maid of honor and the bride made a short field trip to the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall for a Mac Makeover.
It was during Paula’s dressing she realized her excitement for the day. Her reaction to his words before the first look was precious.
Paula had a lot of friends witness her vows by her side.
The first look was really beneficial for this couple; it calmed a lot of nerves. Paula and Mark really compliment one another.
The ceremony was held on the golf courses’ rolling green lawn with a serene backdrop of purple desert mountains and painted yellow skies.
At the wedding guest signing table for decorations there were two big photos of the bride and groom as children.
Like Mark and Paula’s relationship they had their wedding cake topped with two love birds.
Gainey Ranch had a classic wedding style.
They had Posharazzi for their wedding photo booth.
As husband and wife for the first time they prayed over their meal and future together.
