Warning Extreme Nudity in China

Warning: Partial nudity. (Note, normally I would feel bad about nudity but this is happening on the public streets and shows a common picture of some of the Chinese culture.) 

If your a person walking in China a common site to behold is………children going to the bathroom on the sidewalk. In France it’s dogs going to the bathroom. Further east, in China it’s dogs and children, and I’m guessing many other eastern countries. [Actually over the last week I have witnessed two grown men, on two different occasions peeing on the street with the decency of turning their backs.] It’s not just children doing the dirty deed.

I don’t know if it’s just me being a westerner but I think this action, of going to the bathroom on the street is nasty and not sanitary. I think it’s selfish but also ignorance on the people doing it.

I asked a Chinese woman, “Is it normal for Chinese children to bathroom on the street? What do you think of this?” She agrees with me that it’s gross and that sadly the parents that allow this to happen are uneducated and don’t know differently ; they don’t know that it’s unhealthy. She also informed me that going to the bathroom is illegal but if they don’t see it, which is most of the time, than nothing happens.

What is your opinion on this matter? What other countries “potty” on the street?

Education again is the ingredient to health and safety for people’s well being. If you can read this post, praise the good Lord for the blessings of an education on how to read.

(Note, I took the two potty incidences within an hour of each other on a long walk with my Husband.)
