Kyle had planned a trip to Prescott so Elizabeth knew Kyle was going to pop the question of marriage. While they were driving up to Northern Arizona Kyle could feel the awkwardness and had a feeling she knew he was going to propose. Kyle contemplated if he should propose that day or wait until another time when Elizabeth would be completely surprised. He finally came to the conclusion and told Elizabeth, “We need to clear the air…I’m not proposing today.” With that said Kyle and Elizabeth enjoyed the day enjoying the beauties at Prescott Lake and the wild animals at Prescott Zoo.
Two weeks later, Kyle planned a day trip for the two of them. This time Kyle packed a backpack full of goodies. When Elizabeth saw this she thought is was peculiar; Kyle never packed. The two enjoyed their drive up to the Grand Canyon through foggy, snowy and freezing weather. When they arrived, Kyle led Elizabeth for a walk around the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and took her to place to sit. Kyle opened up a journal where the two of them shared a continuous love letter to one-another. As Kyle began to read to Elizabeth he started to tear up. As this was happening Elizabeth was wondering to herself, “Is he going to ask me or not?” Kyle continued to read from the journal expressing his love to Elizabeth. At the end of his reading Kyle asked if Elizabeth would be his bride for life…and she said “YES!” with tears and joy! Shortly after, a work of God happened, the clouds lifted and the two were able to take some proposal photos at the Grand Canyon.
Best friends and now husband and wife, the two are now creating a home in Mesa, Arizona. Kyle and Elizabeth’s love was visible for all to experience on their wedding day, November 12, 2015. The two chose to have their celebratorial wedding in Gilbert, Arizona at The Elegant Barn. In front of God and their family and friends they vowed to cherish and love one another for life.
