Alex and Stacia met through Patrick, a mutual friend. When they retold me their love story they said they initially went on a “fake date”. It was a double date with Alex’s brother-in-law and his sister. That date went so well they then started to hang out one-on-one, which led to four years of dating. Alex proposed to Stacia in the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona while they were hiking with his black lab, Archer, and some friends. He popped the question while they were at the creek and followed the celebration with a romantic dinner.  Alex and Stacia said their vows May 10th at Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona, with an intimate family and friends gathering while surrounded by accents with simple details.

I am excited my second shooter Minkmade got the opportunity to shoot this bird-eye view of the ceremony while I was on the ground.

Northern Arizona Glam Squad designed for the bride’s hair to be simple and elegant. The formal up-do with chignons looked similar to a Spanish salsa dancer, exotic and sexy.

Alex gifted Stacia a necklace, earrings, a bracelet, a purse and more.

The bride’s make-up matched her stunning dress. She was styled with dauntless smokey eyes, added feline lashes and a pinky nude lipstick.

Safeway flowers made the bride’s bouquet to be simple white roses accented with diamonds. A white ribbon wrapped the bottom of the bouquet.

The art venue itself was the main canvas for this wedding’s decorations. Tempe Center for the Arts is located in the heart of Tempe along Tempe Town Lake. When guest were trickling in a local pianist from Rebecca De La Torre entertained guest with light elegant music. The ceremony aisle was lined with white rose petals and the altar overlooked a fountain that appears to go forever.

I loved Stacia’s joyful emotions walking down the aisle to her future husband. It was a beautiful moment.

This modern wedding cake was crafted at Costco, it had buttercream turquoise ruffle flowers that gave this white classic cake a splash of color.

The modern art wedding theme used the following colors: grey, white and turquoise. The table’s centerpieces had a fish bowl of grey sand, a bouquet of artificial white flowers and were framed with white candles and turquoise gems.

During cocktail hour Alex and Stacia had a friend serenade the guest with a guitar. During this time the guest could also explore the venue’s sculpture garden and art gallery. The reception was held in the ballroom attached to the art venue, with ceiling high glass windows that overlooked Tempe Town Lake.

i-vMWKJp8.jpgEach guest’s setting on the tables had a personal s’more’s kit favor with a power bowl scratch off ticket. During the reception the venue’s fireplace turned on and guest could gather around to make s’mores.

Rebecca De La Torre’s band did an excellent job entertaining the guest and feeding the celebration.

My favorite memory from the wedding was at the end of the grand exit’s tunnel. The groom’s niece stood with her arms reaching for the sky trying to complete the tunnel. To the niece’s surprise and joy when her uncle, the groom, reached the end of the tunnel he swept her off her feet; this action spoke volumes to how much he loved her too.
