She teared up with joy when she realized this wedding day was happening and the significance of saying “I do”. When they made their grand exit they danced among the fire lit night with friends and family lighting their path with sparklers. You may wonder how did this fun humorous couple come to this day. It all started…
when they heard Hispanic music playing in the background and chips and salsa filled the aroma of the room.
Mike and Shakira met through mutual friends at Salty Señorita. Following their meeting Mike “friend requested” Shakira. She thought it was cute. Mike later asked Shakira out. Shakira gave Mike a chance because they shared Facebook friends. After their first date Mike told his brother “that’s the girl”. Once Mike realized she was the woman he wanted to marry he pursued her heart..jpg)

The bride’s something old and borrow was a handkerchief that was a family memorabilia.
Mike gifted his groomsmen pocketknives.
The early summer light lit the ceremony perfect. The adorable flower girl sprinkled the path for the bride that was coming. Shakira smiled at her husband to be while “A Thousand Years” by Cristina Perri from Twilight played in the background.
Whispering Tree Ranch made for a lovely outdoor ceremony and reception venue.
On March 28th 2014 Mike and Shakira committed to being best friends forever as husband and wife.
They loved being funny…and loved everything about zombies.
Before the newly wed’s enjoyed their first meal as husband and wife Mike lit a candle in remembrance of his mom.
Their first dance as husband and wife.
The Best Man, Mike’s friend since 5th grade, delivered an emotional speech. Tears and hearts were melting when the Best Man retold how Shakira had put together an old photo and modernized it of Mike’s mom.
Vintage Photobooth Rentals had classy props and the pictures printed out immediately.
The two celebrated marital bliss for 10 days in Hawaii. This July they will be settling down in a house in Peoria, Arizona.
