These two nature lovers have known each other since they were 14 years old. Their love story took seed on an unlikely day when Kathryn was having a not-so-good day and journeyed to the LDS Temple to clear her head. Trevor was sitting on the other side. That day Kathryn decided to get baptized. Trevor did her baptism in Spanish and afterwards Kathryn asked him if she could have a hug. Kathryn then smiled at him and left the Temple. Two weeks later Trevor wanted someone to run errands with and he asked Kathryn. Trevor and Kathryn’s love took root and he proposed to her on a hike at Coon’s Bluff.
Their Proposal Story
When they neared the plato of their hike Trevor cleverly asked, “I wonder what’s at the top of the mountain?” When they got to the top of the Coon’s Bluff Trevor said, “Let’s take some pictures.” After a few pictures Trevor slowly puts a ring in front of the camera while Kathryn was taking pictures of the landscape. Kathryn said “yes” and the two lovebirds are getting married on May 9, 2015 at the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple.
Trevor and Kathryn decided to do a first look in the front of the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. Kathryn’s mother was honored to witness the two seeing each other before making their commitments.
Trevor looked very dapper in his cream suit and red facial hair.
Kathryn looked like a Hollywood Bride in her bird cage veil.
Since Trevor and Kathryn love the outdoors we also ventured to Papago Park’s Amphitheater. Kathryn’s elegant lace dress looked grand on those ancient ruined steps.
Papago Park’s peaks and vegetation highlighted their love. Kathryn loves to call Trevor “her treasure”.
It was a blessing to see their interactions with one-another. Trevor is supportive and sweet in how he cares for Kathryn. Thank you Trevor and Kathryn for inviting me to witness a part of your love story. I look forward to documenting your wedding day memories.
