North Phoenix Baptist Church Wedding: Tevin + Lexi

They met in the mist of balls flying at them, in other words, inner mirroral dodgeball at the Arizona Christian University. Afterwards they started to hang out and share their passion by participating in a pro life club. They were friends for 1 1/2 years and in that time frame they got to know each other really well. A week before they started to date Tevin and Lexi prayed about what God wanted for their relationship. Lexi describes that when she prayed that she knew they were going to get married. Tevin at that time didn’t want a relationship but God told him she was the one. Following their prayer time separately they had a DTR (Define the Relationship). Tevin and Lexi officially started to date January 30, 2014.

On September 15, 2014 after church Tevin had his sister distract Lexi. Tevin’s sister said that they should head to her parent’s home to get ready for Tevin’s dad and brother’s birthday dinner. When Lexi arrived at the house Tevin’s mom asked her, “One of the boys hit a ball up into the balcony. Can you climb up the ladder and get it?”. Lexi with some frustration, because she was in a dress, went up the ladder and discovered….no ball, but…..pink roses petals sprinkled on the roof top and Tevin with a guitar. Tevin had Lexi sit down while he serenaded her a song he wrote. At the end of the song Tevin slowly got down on his knee and asked Lexi if she would be his wife.

On May 30, 2015 Tevin and Lexi committed to loving one another in front of God and their family and friends at the North Phoenix Baptist Church. Tevin and Lexi thank you for inviting me to document your love. I appreciate you both and am happy to call you friends. I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon at Disneyland and the Yosemite! Cheers to made memories and to making more!

Around the corner of the church Tevin was making his final touches.

Tevin was all smiles from ear to ear any moment he took a look at his blushing bride. This was the first moment Tevin laid eyes on Lexi on their wedding day.

Tevin and Lexi reliving their first date which was a walk in the park. Who knew walks led to marriage?

Before Tevin and Lexi tied-the-knot they explored the North Phoenix Baptist Church’s farmers market, all eyes were on the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs.

The couple said their vows in North Phoenix Baptist Church’s chapel.

It was a beautiful sight to see Kevin’s father married them.

They are officially husband and wife!

After the ceremony the couple snuck away for romantic photos of the two of them.

Their first moments has husband and wife.

The church’s amphitheater was grand and epic, just like their love.

I will end on this note because this is when Tevin and Lexi drove off into the Arizona sunset and lived happily ever after.
