Venue at the Grove is a hidden green oasis located in the Phoenix valley. Jennifer and Tera from Best Friend Borrowed Events envisioned this to inspire an engaged couple who wanted to create the feeling of “…walking through the woods and coming upon a hidden whimsical wedding.”

“(They) wanted to incorporate a level of romance along with the natural elements you would find in the woods with a touch of a fairytale element.” Best Friend Borrowed Events did an excellent job creating this effect.

One of my favorite elements of the shoot was the moss lined tables. Farm tables do a terrific job of bringing the elements of nature and family together.

To give the wedding an earthy vibe they had details like antlers and the wedding rings in a wooden box with moss inside.

At the center of every plate there was a DIY individual gold cupcake holder and DIY escort card.

Butterfly Petals did a fantastic job creating the flowers. The reception tables were lined with “electric mixtures of flowers, succulents and bright colored flowers” with splashes of coral, sage green, peach, gold, cream and pops of pale pink and blue.

“A natural color palette was used with pops of color to give it that romantic feel.”

“The bride’s hair was designed to compliment the bride’s dress, a whimsical style while also keeping it elegant and classy. The bride wore deconstructed braids to keep it playful while the soft wispy curls kept it romantic. We added a flower crown to add a natural playful element to tie the look together.” Lindsey from All Done Up Style

Best Friend Borrowed styled the naked wedding cake with woodsy details like twigs and succulents. The twig’s design were added to represent the crazy roller coaster of love and the journey the married couple is about to embark on.

I will end with the couple sharing their first dessert together as husband and wife; it’s so sweet!
