About 2 years ago while the two were in different relationships they saw each other from afar at church. In March 2014 after both of their relationships ended they ran into each other at the gym. Brittney then sent Chase a Facebook message. The two messaged for awhile and then the emails from Chase stop coming. While Brittney was in the neighborhood of his work she stop by to check in with him. Ever since that day they hung out and shared their passions for similar hobbies and values. Brittney commented, “It happened so easy.” Chase and Brittney shared their first date having conversation over Mexican food at a taco stand. Following food they got a car wash and headed to Sheels, a sporting good store, to ride the ferris wheel and look at guns.
Fast forward to the engagement story. Chase had planned an epic proposal near their home at Wheeler Farm, where Brittney commented the two loved to look at the baby goats and their “stupid faces” ;D. However, plans were changed because it was scheduled to rain there. Chase changed his plan to pop the question on Fourth of July at Oakley, in Northern Utah, when their family was visiting the local famous rodeo and family BBQ.
It was 11pm at night, there were no lights and Chase and Brittney were walking down a road to see the fireworks from the Oakley Rodeo. Brittney was looking forward and noticed that Chase had stopped walking. She thought he was tying his shoe. When Brittney turned around to ask Chase if he needed her flashlight she saw that he was instead down on his knee. Brittney’s reacted saying, “Is this really happening?” The engagement ring got placed on her finger and that’s when Chase said, “Is that a yes?” Brittney said, “Oh yeah…of course!!!!” Afterwards, when the couple reach the family’s ranch home, they were greeted with celebratory enthusiasm for their new engagement with their whole family.
On their wedding day, November 7, 2015, they attested to their loved ones to go the extra mile in their friendship to a lifetime commitment…marriage. Their love is full of memorable moments that was fully displayed on their wedding day as they said their vows at Chateau Luxe.
Chase and Brittney you two are incredible and your wedding day was something I won’t forget. You were surrounded with amazing family and friends that was full of refined love. Thank you for inviting me to be your wedding photographer. Grace and Peace, April
Brittney’s wedding day preparations began at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix and she wore a cute pair of Chanel shoes.
The most beautiful thing about Brittney is her closeness to her family. She is made up of many beautiful parts of their love so I was honored to document that bond. During Brittney’s first look with her father many tears of joy were shed; her father surprised her with a pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet.
A few finishing touches before the groom saw the bride…
…and his reaction was priceless.
Brittney, you are downright beautiful.
We spent the afternoon capturing moments of the couple’s love on their wedding day and I couldn’t have been happier hanging out with them.
Brittney can make Chase laugh on the drop-of-a-hat!
The Arizona light was fantastic.
Chase and Brittney’s adorable ring bearer and flower girl!
Chase and Brittney’s ceremony was held at Chateau Luxe outdoor space overlooking the Sonoran desert!
The best flower girl introduction!
Officially Mr. and Mrs.
Brittney arranged a pretty reception with lots of exceptional details… “1950’s meets modern chic”.
Chateau Luxe is the perfect Arizona modern wedding venue, with symetric lines and retro styles. Pam’s Florals did a fantastic job capturing Brittney’s vision for the florals, lots of roses and deconstructed greenery for an organic vibe.
The couple opted for a naked cake…my favorite type of cake.
The twinkling lights illuminated the dance room as Chase and Brittney spent the evening in each other’s arms.
Bon appetit!
Chase and Brittney spent most of the wedding reception connecting with their loved ones.
