She fell in love with him when they were in the 8th grade. It wasn’t something to take serious at the time, but as their lives continued to grow, God reconnected them and made it worth their while. Once they had enough time together, Stephen’s mother even knew Haley was going to be the girl he married. It didn’t take long for them to figure out they were in love with each other and wanted to pursue a life together.
They arrived to Disney World on October 30, 2016. With giddy feelings of being at the happiest place on earth with the man of her dreams, Haley could not have been more excited. So much so, tears came from her eyes. As the day went on, Stephen got his Tomorrowland fix with the thrills of Space Mountain and they made their way to the Castle. They FaceTimed family while the Disney Princesses made an appearance, so it was only fitting to ask the photographer for one more picture. Right when Haley turned around, Stephen was on his knee asking her to be his bride. Joyful cries and shrieks of thrill, Haley said ,”yes.” She even managed to ask to him, “When did you ask my dad?” They gave the photographer a big thank you for capturing their epic moment and then spent the rest of the day in their own fairy tale love story at the happiest place on earth.
