In the Arizona winter in the foothills of Peoria’s Sunrise Mountain Preserve, a military country wedding was ready to commence. The bride’s childhood home was converted into a country wedding theme wonderland. Horseshoes hung from the trees, coffee bean mason jars lined the tables, and peanuts were ready for snacking. Her family and her did an incredible job designing the ultimate Arizona backyard wedding.
So many childhood memories filled this home and on this day Lacey was able to make more epic memories by committing to love Cody forever.
Lacey was so thoughtful and gifted her bridesmaid a box full of goodies, including: a personal shot of Moonshine and American wool socks. These American socks are the perfect gift for a military wedding!
There is so much beauty in the artisanship of tattoos!
The groom, Cody wore a casual flannel button down shirt.
It is the sweetest sight and honor to see the friends of the bride and groom support them on their wedding day!
Favorite moments and memories are seeing the children at weddings running around with so much wedding joy!
Below are some really neat country DIY mason jar portrait holders.
Outdoor backyard weddings are so intimate and an incredible way to have quality time with your family and friends. Cody and Lacey’s Peoria backyard ceremony wedding had hay barrels for their guests to sit on during the exchange of their vows.
The country wedding details included mason jars filled with roasted coffee beans, burlap, peanuts and wedding guests favors of homemade Apple Pie Moonshine.
Cody and Lacey’s cake table was lined with their parents and grandparents wedding cake photos; it’s amazing to see the decorating details couples come up with for their special day.
Lacey had the ultimate father-giving away picture ever. This picture represents almost every father’s thought and the heart of every parent wanting to protect their children.
After the ceremony we stole away for some gorgeous wedding couple portraits near Lacey’s family stables.
During cocktail hour the guests were served deductibles from a brushetta bar.
Cody and Lacey had some of the most photogenic guests ever.
If you’re planning a wedding I highly recommend to hire a food truck for your wedding dinner. Cody and Lacey hired a local Phoenix BBQ food truck called Taste Rite.
I will end with this precious father-daughter dance as the Arizona sun slipped over the horizon.
