2014 was a year of growth for April Maura Photography in the wedding industry. I have been completely honored witnessing couple’s unique love stories. I have been blessed to see couples’ wedding stories unfold and see the special behind the scene moments on that day. Thank you to all the couples and photographers that allowed me to be apart of these couple’s love stories and grow my photography skills to capture a couples’ wedding day story.
The first wedding I captured in 2014 was Taylor and Kylie’s Val Vista Lakes Wedding. You can see Kylie’s surprise dance for her husband on the blog post.
I planned my first wedding inspiration, a Vintage Arizona Wedding Elopement on a Ranch in Gilbert. The design was created to inspire bride’s who wanted an intimate Arizona backyard wedding.
I was blessed to witness and capture my first surprise proposal followed with an engagement session. James and Leontine had a breathtaking natural Sedona Creek Engagement session.
I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in California. Chris and Courtney had their Sovereign Grace Church Pasadena wedding outside; all their reception pictures of their guests and themselves were spectacular. A wild squirrel joined in the festivities too.
Alexi and Stacia had a beautiful modern wedding at the Tempe Center for the Arts.
Mike and Shakira were a fun couple. This bride and groom were huge fans of The Walking Dead; you can see them acting like zombies and their pretty vintage decorations at the Whispering Tree Ranch Vintage Wedding.
Chris and Bry performed an intricate waltz for their first dance. You can see their rubber ducky and bird theme wedding at the Summer Redemption Gilbert Church.
Mark and Paula had a beautiful large bridal party for their Arizona golf course wedding at the Gainey Ranch. I love Paula’s reaction to Mark’s letter before their first look.
